Mthobisi Thela

Mthobisi Thela earned his LLB from the University of Pretoria in 2024. Throughout his academic journey, he has displayed strong academic determination and results, completing his LLB with numerous distinctions. Furthermore, he had the opportunity to serve under various organizations within the University of Pretoria, namely the Law-House Academics Subcommittee and Students for Law and Social Justice (SLSJ-UP) as the Head of Research.

Outside of work and academics, Mthobisi is an avid Formula 1 fan and a supporter of Ferrari. He has a deep love and passion for Aerodynamics, Technology and Aviation as spending quality time with family and close friends. In 2025, Mthobisi began his Candidate Attorney articles at MacRobert Attorneys, where he is eager to deepen his expertise in Tax Law, Banking and Finance Law, Commercial and Corporate Law and Intellectual Property Law. With his enthusiasm, willingness to learn , adaptability and commitment to excellence, Mthobisi is excited to contribute to the dynamic environment at MacRobert Attorneys.
